Reservations

To reserve your chosen property, please contact us with your selected travel dates so that we can confirm if the property is available with the owner. If your dates are available we will require 30% deposit of the full rental amount to reserve your dates. Upon receipt of this 30% we will confirm the property is booked in your booking name.

Breakages deposit

To guard again any breakages during your stay we require a breakage deposit of either €100 or £100 (depending in which currency you paid). Prior to your arrival and after your departure an inventory is taken and if anything is found to be missing or broken the market cost of a replacement will be taken out of your deposit. The deposit is refunded within 30 days of your departure.  On arriving home please send us details of your sort number and account code so we can refund your deposit.  Please also provide your full name and the name of the property where you stayed.

Cancellations 

Cancellations made 8 weeks or more prior to arrival date will incur an administration charge of €100 and the balance will be refunded. Cancellations made within 8 weeks of arrival will not receive a refund as at this late stage it may not be possible to rent the property for your dates at such short notice. Please see detailed booking conditions.

Keys

Upon receipt of the balance payment we will email you driving directions from your arrival airport to the property and these will include details of collecting the key. If the key is in a key safe you will also be emailed under separate email the four digit code required. To avoid losing keys it is wise to use the key safe box at all times. On the driving directions will also be a 24 hour emergency number.

Check In/ Departure Out

Check in time is 4pm and departure time is 11am. Depending on availability these times may be flexible. If we can offer an early check in or late checkout, there is no extra charge.

Cleaning

Your holiday accommodation is cleaned prior to your arrival. In the property you will normally find an iron, ironing board and also cleaning products, should you need them. Should you require a mid-stay clean then this can be arranged at an extra charge. On a 2 week stay a mid-stay clean is already included in the cost of your booking.

Linen & Towels 

Linen and towels are provided in accordance with the amount of guests that are stated on your booking form. Should you wish to wash the linen or towels during your stay (not including a mid-stay clean if previously booked or for a 2 week stay) then you can use the washing machine and dryer within the accommodation.

Safe 

Safes are usually provided within the holiday accommodation, it will be noted in our advert if one is available. The instructions will be in the property for your convenience. Cyprus generally has a very low crime rate although we still do not recommend leaving valuables outside the safe.  Please remember to check the safe before you depart.

Air Conditioning / Heating

Most holiday rental properties have air conditioning units in every room which can be used for both cooling & heating.  When they are available they work according to your needs to give you a temperature that is comfortable to you.

Appliances

Most electrical appliances are safe according to EU standards.  Each appliance is usually easy to work and understand and any labels are normally in English.  If available the instruction manuals, normally in English, will be located within the property.

TV/DVD players

If provided it will state in our advert whether televisions and DVD player is provided. We also state whether the television has any satellite channels. Within the Paphos district are DVD rental shops that can be used although some owners do leave DVD’s and books in the property for you to enjoy during your stay.

Parking

If the accommodation has private parking or allocated spaces these will be brought to your attention on meeting the owner or property manager or you will see the relevant space numbered the same as your property.

Currency Exchange

To exchange your currency the safest option is the bank although you can also use hotels and some shops. The hotels are quite expensive and sometimes the best offer are the shops within the Harbour area of Paphos. Always check your money before leaving the shop.

Recycling

Recycling is not necessarily normal practice in Cyprus yet although recycle bins are being provided on the main roads and are color coded, brown for paper and cardboard, blue for tins and plastic and green for glass. Please note that there are usually large green bins located outside the property and these are for general rubbish. 

Reservations

First of all please check that your chosen property is still available and let us know you are about to make payment so we can provisionally reserve the dates for you.  Once we've confirmed availability with the owner we will ask for 30% of the full rental amount to reserve your dates.  When we confirm receipt of your payment the property is then reserved under your name.  Please note that we work on a first-come first-served basis and if two payments have been received we will refund the latest in full.

Safe

For holiday lets we have asked all our owners to install a safe for the safety of your belongings.  The operating instructions will be either in the welcome folder, inside the safe or printed and displayed near the safe.  Generally safes are located in the bedroom wardrobe.  Although Cyprus generally has a very low crime rate we do not recommend leaving valuables outside the safe.  Please remember to check the safe before you depart.
