Kathikas is a lovely pretty village built mainly of stone and located between Paphos and Latchi. The village is located on a plateau 23 kilometers north of Paphos with an altitude of 645m. Being a traditional Cypriot village it has a flourishing agrotourism industry. It has wonderful rustic tavernas that offer the freshest of local produce. This village also has wineries where you can spend time sampling the Cypriot wines of the village picked from family’s vineyards. An extremely quiet location which is perfect for property buyers that want the peace and tranquillity. The village has a long history of merchants travelling between Paphos & Polis and using Kathikas as a resting place. Recent archaeological studies support the theory that the King of Paphos used Kathikas as his resting and holiday place.
